Track production attainment, manufacturing variability, and throughput efficiency

The Pre-S&OP (Pre–Sales & Operations Planning) process serves as a bridge between the Demand Review and Executive S&OP meetings, integrating insights from both demand and supply perspectives to provide a unified view of business performance.

This stage focuses on evaluating key operational and financial indicators—such as inventory health, profitability, and efficiency—to identify imbalances, risks, or opportunities before final decision-making at the executive level.

Through this review, teams can:

  • Analyze inventory performance, including value, turnover, and obsolescence risks.
  • Evaluate profitability trends across products, regions, or customers.
  • Monitor cost efficiency and margin contribution throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify potential constraints or financial impacts resulting from supply-demand misalignment.
  • Align operational execution with the company’s financial and strategic objectives.

The OWL Analytics Platform provides dedicated dashboards that consolidate data across planning, operations, and finance, supporting cross-functional alignment and proactive decision-making.

The following dashboards are available within the Pre-S&OP module:

  • Inventory Expiration: Monitor inventory value, expiration timelines, and obsolescence exposure while tracking key metrics such as Gross Sales, COGS, Margin, Inventory Turns, and DOH.
  • Profitability: Evaluate financial performance and contribution margins across different business dimensions.
  • Inventory Performance: Analyze inventory efficiency and balance between stock levels and service objectives.
